HELP BRING BROOME'S WAV TAXI BACK · 0448 727 239
Once the first WAV is on the road and the core community service is established, these are the services that turn Wheely Good Rides into a proper Broome institution. All subject to demand, drivers, and authorisations — but this is where we're headed.
FUTURE SERVICES — SUBJECT TO VEHICLE ACQUISITION, DEMAND VERIFICATION & AUTHORISATIONS
Pre-booked, door-to-door group transport for a great night out — and a safe ride home. Friday and Saturday nights, plus Sunday sessions — because Broome knows a long lunch can turn into a long night. Birthdays, staff parties, pub crawls, weddings — you rally the crew, we sort the wheels.
Malcolm Douglas Croc Park is Broome's #1 family attraction. A future pre-booked shuttle could give wheelchair users, families and other visitors an additional way to enjoy one of Broome’s best-known attractions. The service would only proceed after demand, access arrangements and the required authorisations were confirmed.
Ceremony → reception → late-night → morning-after. One group, one driver who knows the plan. Wheelchair-accessible so every guest is included — Grandma doesn't miss the ceremony because there's no way to get her there.
Broome's most iconic natural spectacle draws thousands every dry season. Town Beach and the night markets are packed — and can be particularly difficult to access for wheelchair users who do not have suitable private transport. Pre-booked group runs timed to the moonrise.
Pre-booked transfers could be offered around selected arrivals and departures when vehicle capacity allows. Priority wheelchair bookings would remain the core service.
Cruise ship day-trippers, corporate groups, school excursions, sports teams, conference transfers. Any group that needs to move together — with or without wheelchairs. One booking covers everyone.
Broome supports offshore and regional resource activity, creating a potential future market for pre-booked airport, hotel and group transfers. Wheely Good Rides would explore this market only after the core accessible community service was established and suitable corporate arrangements were confirmed.
Heliport · Hotel · Airport — one driver, one booking, zero stress
Illustrative future pathway
Vehicle 1 covers community and NDIS transport. Vehicle 2 handles airport, Croc Park, and events. Vehicle 3 takes the night shift — offshore crews, Pub Run, corporate. All three wheelchair-accessible. Each one makes the others stronger.
Priority wheelchair bookings, appointments, everyday transport and eligible participant or facility-arranged trips.
Airport shuttle, Croc Park, tourism and group transfers.
Offshore crews, Pub Run, corporate and fleet overflow.
An illustrative future pathway only. All three wheelchair accessible. Accessibility stays the heart of the business — tourism and corporate work subsidise a reliable community service.
These services are part of the growth vision. The immediate objective is launching one owner-operated WAV in response to Broome’s documented accessibility gap. Additional demand will be validated through real enquiries, bookings and written service agreements.
Additional services are added when utilisation data, trained drivers and vehicle funding support expansion.
